Kilauea
World's most active volcano

Perhaps the most spectacular view in Hawaii is the
Big Island's Kilauea Volcano, that has been continuously erupting since
1983. Drive through Volcanoes National Park, hike or fly over for stunning

Waimea
Country Club
Kamuela, Kona
A comfortable cool climate is provided at the
Waimea Country Club in upcountry Waimea.
This Scottish links design is set with views of both the
ocean and Mauna Kea, with some of the finest bent greens in the Hawaiian
Islands. The course was built on pasturelands, surrounded by cattle ranches
and is wide open, yet there are many Ironwood trees that can affect your
golf shots. As you play, enjoy observing the wild turkeys, pheasant and
ducks. This is not your typical Hawaiian resort golf course.

Makalei Golf Club
72-3890 Hawaii Belt Road,
Kailua-Kona
Over-looking the Big Island’s
Kona-Kohala Coast from the lower slopes of Hualalai, the island’s
third highest mountain, Makalei is an 18-hole championship course.
It is one of only five in the state to feature Bentgrass greens,
the “grainless” alternative to Hawaii’s more common
Bermuda putting surfaces.
Makalei is a cool, scenic, woodland alternative
to the island’s many coastal golf course experiences. Its elevations
range from approximately 1,800 feet to 2,850 feet, offering challenging
play, panoramic coastal views, as well as nesting areas for pheasants,
turkeys, and other wildlife. Over 100 wild peacocks roam the course. Distinctive
features on the course include lava tubes, cinder cones and a stone wall
dating back more than 100 years that traverses the length of the course.
